Bowling Event
Where: Country Lanes Bowling Alley
New Lenox, IL 60451
When: August 26th / 5-7pm
What/Why: The goal of the bowling event is to rasie money for a charity event I will be performing at Sept. 8th and 9th. This concert/ fundraiser was thought up by a little girl who wanted to help others and her mother decided to make her child's vision come to life. They contacted me and asked me to be apart of the event and I gladly said yes. They are also having guest speaker Denise Mclean Solis, the mom of AJ from the Backstreet Boys, speak about how important it si to life a drug free life. The event is raising money for D.A.R.E., Brian Littrell's Healthy Hearts Club for Kids, Dourough Lupus Foundation, and Aj's Johny's-No-Name Foundation. I am hoping to raise money from our bowling event and present a check at the end of the concert to support this great cause! I am so inspired that this mother put so much effort into making her daughter's wonderful vision come alive and I hope we can all help to make this event even more magical!!!
Price: Admission price is $15.00 to enter. This will include food/pop, unlimited bowling, bowling shoes, face painting, bean bag toss, and other activities. I will keep you posted on any new activities that are added.
This is my first charity event so any help you'd like to offer would be GREAT! I'd love to see you for this fun night of bowling so make sure to come out and join us in trying to do something good :)
